During his nap today, Brookster decided to put on 11 pairs of socks...and cut the blood off to his feet. Excellent Brooks!

The kids were watching Charlotte's Web and Brooks and Georgia were laying together on the couch. Brookster said, "We're sharing."

Toddler Bed, Part Deux

I sick

Every morning before we go to daycare, Brooks says, "I sick. I stay home." Since he got to stay home about a month ago when he was sick.

When Brooks gets excited and wants to show you something her says,  "I want to show you nothing! "

Little rough

Brooks is having a rough time staying at the Kells. He is very emotional and crying a lot. Hopefully we will be in the rental soon and we can get him back to a routine.

Fire

Today was the fire at our house. I am so happy no one was hurt! It makes me remember what is important!

Poop on the potty!

Yesterday, Brookster went poop on the potty! He came down from his bath and went and sat on it. I asked him if he was going to try to go tinkle (which he has not done yet) and he said he was going to go poop. And he did! He got a mini Simba doll as a present. And when he looked at the picture of the poop (gross...I know) all he could say was "Wow".

Cribber

Me: Brooks, where are you?
Brooks: Here
Me: Are you upstairs?
Brooks: Yes.
Me: Where?
Brooks: In my cribber.

And sure enough, he heard it was time for bed and ran and got in his crib (or cribber).

Packets at night

For the kids to get a packet before bed, they have to eat all their dinner. Today, Brooks is apparently pretty excited for a packet.

Broken bike

Alison - Brooks, are you sad you broke D's bike?

Brooks - No, I happy.

Same bed

It took Brooks awhile, but he decided his favorite way to sleep was in Georgia's bed. And sometimes, she didn't fuss about it!

And after almost two months of nightly crying and screaming, we put the crib back together...and Brookster went to bed in about 5 minutes!

So Brookster put both legs through one leg hole and wouldn't let us put them on correctly. And he was wearing an Astrid shirt from How to Train Your Dragon.

Brooks did not want to sleep in his toddler bed. He screamed in the hallway until her fell asleep. He also hadnt used a pacifier or baby in months. His screaming made it hard to hear Breaking Bad!
